Sophie and Eric met as freshman music students at Salisbury University. In July 2021, they decided to create a musical duo originally called The Blacklist. They began playing around the Perry Hall area choosing mostly indie and alternative music to cover. After four years of making music together, they released their first two singles "Sweet Pea" and "Circumstance" in 2025. After rebranding to Avenue 2, they added a third member: Keith Fleming on Bass. The trio will release their first EP "On My Way" On Friday, April 17th 2026.
